I’ve had a spate of problems concerning malware attacks on WordPress sites. Once this happens it is very hard to eradicate and usually results in having to rebuild a site from scratch. This is time consuming and naturally I’d like to avoid this if at all possible. Therefore I’m adding some security measure and setting up a process to reduce the possibility of hacks. The obvious ones are secure passwords and updating of software, plugins and themes. However one I had not thought of is to use a secure username. Check out the video below to see what I mean. If I’m hosting a website for you then you can be sure I’m taking these measures on your behalf. If you have a WordPress site and are unsure of your security contact me for a conversation.
