heard the story about "Ne Me Plaignez Pas" (which is one of my
favourite early songs of Céline) and how Eddy Marnay wrote a French
adaptation on the melody of your song "Please Don't Sympatise"
and that you never knew until recently, I wanted to tell you that I love
the song and that I feel sad that you couldn't contact Eddy about this
before he died. I wanted to ask how this could happen, that you wrote a
song and that it was used on an early album of Céline without you
knowing about it. I always thought that someone who writes a song also
decides what happens to it! Anyway.this is something most
songwriters/composers can only dream of. :)))) You wrote a song for Céline

for anything let alone a marrage. I understand how you feel about your
guitar. I feel the same way about my 1965 Corvette. The sexy lines of a
woman will change over the years, but the sexy lines of a guitar or
sports car will always be there. I would get me a guitar if I knew how
to play, but I would probably play it as poorly as I play my women.

I am a great fan of Consett and area.
My brother in law who lives in Shotley Bridge has send me a photo of the
new pub under construction.
Boy! How on earth could the council have given approval?
The open area of the market square that enabled a view of the
surrounding streets with the pubs and stores will be lost not to mention
the noise and related problems with the pub visitors.
One good way to ruin a centre of a town!!
